EVENT NAME: BRAINSTORM DATE: 01.03.2019 TIME: 11 AM to 1 PM

INTRODUCTION:

In this event, questions related to general knowledge, general science, and basic computational abilities would be asked. This event would mainly test the general awareness of the candidates in every domain.

EVENT PROCEDURE:

ROUND-1 (Rules for General Round)

  1. Each team will be asked 2 questions of 10 marks each. They will be given 30 seconds for each question.
  2. If the allotted team is unable to answer the question then the question will passed on to the subsequent teams.
  3. Subsequent teams will be given 15 seconds to answer & will be awarded 5 marks for each correct answer.

ROUND-2 (Rules for Buzzer Round)

  1. There will be 8 questions in this round. Team who raises their hands first will be given the chance to answer.
  2. 15 marks will be awarded for each correct answer & 5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  3. Team will be given 60 seconds for each question.

 

ROUND-3 (Rules for Specialized Subject)

  1. Every team will have to choose their favourite subjects.
  2. Every team will be asked 2 questions from their chosen subjects.
  3. They will be given 60 seconds for each question.
  4. 15 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.

ROUND-4 (Rules for Personality Identification Round)

  1. Every team will be asked to identify a personality.
  2. Three hints will be provided for every question.
  3. 20 marks will be awarded for the correct answer after 1st
  4. 15 marks will be awarded for the correct answer after 2nd
  5. 10 marks will be awarded for the correct answer after 3rd
  6. 60 seconds will be given for each question.

ROUND-5 (Rules for Rules – Rapid fire round)

  1. Each team will be asked to nominate a member from their team.
  2. Nominated member will be given 120 seconds for 10 questions in this round.
  3. 5 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

EVENT NAME: CODE PRO DATE: 01.03.2019 TIME: 11 AM to 2 PM

INTRODUCTION

In this event a written test is conducted with set of 20 questions related to the c-language and a time limit of 15min is given and the participant has to complete the test within the time limit. Depending upon their performance they are selected to the further rounds.

RULES:

Only the registered candidates are allowed for the written test.

The participant has to complete test with in the time limit.

No extension of time limit is done.

 This is a team event and each team must consist of 2 members.

 The programming language will be C and there will 2 rounds.

 The decision of the event coordinators will be final. And if there is a tie then time will be counted.

ROUNDS:

     Round-1.

 Two random problem statements are given to each team to solve in the provided time interval of 30 minutes.

First member of the team will have first 15 minutes to code and second member will have the rest of 15 minutes.

If first member completes the first problem then he can call his second member to code and leave the room.

   Round-2.

Same as round 1.

EVENT NAME: EXECUTE DATE: 01.03.2019 TIME: 2 PM to 5 PM

INTRODUCTION:

In this event a written test is conducted with set of 20 questions related to the c-language and a time limit of 15min is given and the participant has to complete the test within the time limit. Depending upon their performance they are selected to the further rounds.

EVENT PROCEDURE:

ROUNDS:

1ST ROUND: In this round the participant have to appear in the written test(MCQ) within the time limit and the top scored 20 members are allowed for the second round.

2nd ROUND: In this round the level of complexity increases and 2 outputs are given to the selected candidates. They have to write the code and execute in 20 min. whoever completes the program first without any errors will be the winner.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

  1. Only the registered candidates are allowed for the written test.
  2. The participant has to complete test with in the time limit.
  3. No extension of time limit is done.

 

EVENT NAME: DESIGNER HUB DATE: 02.03.2019 TIME: 10 AM to 1 PM

INTRODUCTION: Web Page Designing using Sublime text or any other text editor.

RULES & REGULATIONS:

  • text Web Page Designing using Sublime text or any other editor.
  • Checking time 10 mins per round.Hours- 2 hrs.
  • There will be 3 rounds for the competition.

EVENT PROCEDURE:

1st round: 30 MCQ questions based on web design and development. It will be a pen and paper MCQ type question. 20 min should be given for this round.

2nd round: basic framework implementation using CSS and HTML. This will be a practical round. We will use Sublime text editor or any other text editor for framework creation. 30 mins should be given for this particular round.

3rd round: It will also be a practical round and 50 min will be allotted for this final round. Here the participants will be asked to develop a proper and responsive page and subpages using CSS and HTML only.
